The Grantfin Datamint Absolute Return Strategy
In October of 2023, Grantfin deployed a live smart contract to the Ethereum blockchain which allows investors to purchase the strategy on-chain. The strategy uses mathematical modelling to find the best performing liquidity pools and with a robust risk management oversight. The pool targets a return of 36% with a sharp ratio 1.6 based on back-testing. The strategy holds exposure to the large tokens (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Arbitrum) and earns yield through providing liquidity to in-chain pools. Investors hold the smart contract in their own on-chain wallet and all trades are transparent to the investor. At no time do the assets leave the investors wallet so Grantfin does not have custody.
What are the risks to the strategy?
There are investment risk to the GDARS like any other investment in that future performance may not be different to past performance but the risk to our strategy are easily quantified. We perform best when there is high turnover on-chain. High on-chain volumes mean our yields are strong. When volumes fall, we will see our returns dip.
